Chapter 129. The Law

It was indeed a new day with a positive mind for Detective Brown as he walks into the central police station whistling. He was close to the counter when he saw men on suits searching and tearing his office apart.

He quickly hurried up to know what he was up against, “Who the hell are you guys?” Detective Brown asked them. “You have no right to enter my office without my permission,” Detective Brown yelled at them.

On hearing Detective Brown’s voice, Captain Harris called him into his office, “Shut the door behind you,” Captain Harris said to Detective Brown. “Who the hell are those people in my office?” Detective Brown asked Captain Harris. “They are the Feds!” Captain Harris replied.

“What the hell are Feds doing in my office without any warrant flashed at me?” Detective Brown said. “The internal affairs sent them,” Captain Harris replied. “Sent them to do the hell what?” Detective Brown asked. “I am sorry Brown but they have doubt that you might be a dirty cop,”
