Chapter 20. Holy Water: Heist

Holy water is divine water often used to hunt supernatural creatures. Since Sasha started hunting, Jasmine taught her the importance of holy water in hunting and has proven to her it’s not only vampires it can be used on. In most cases, while Sasha hunts, she always carries a silver bottle of holy water with her.

When it comes to demons and vampires, holy water will not kill them; however, it can hurt and burn them just as it did with the Dark Prince, Mary, and the Reaper. Holy water can’t hurt werewolves since they possess a human soul. Sasha often uses holy water to interrogate demons or vampires for information. With holy water, a demon can be exorcized with ease.

            Holy water is created by a priest blessing a source of water by making the sign of the cross over the water saying, “In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti,” meaning, ‘In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ However, a non-priest can as well
