Chapter 99. Bloody Captain

Dragging the sheriff into his own office, the captain of the texas rangers forced him on his knees. “What’s all this?” the sheriff asked.

“You call yourself the sheriff of this county and yet you let murderers roam your streets,” said the captain as he places his revolver on the sheriff’s desk.

“What the hell are you fucking talking about?” the sheriff asked sternly. “What were you doing in the wolves’ hill today?” he asked staring at the sheriff in a disgusting manner.

“I am the sheriff of this county and I have the right to be anywhere as far as it’s not against the law of Texas,” the sheriff fired back as he attempts to stand to his feet but the ranger standing behind him forced him down to his knees again.

“You have no jurisdiction over me,” said the sheriff. “You are right but I can kill you right now and say you are one of those monsters if you don’t tell me what I need to know,” the captain threatened.
