My heart sank as I watched them walk away, leaving me behind once again. It seemed like no matter how hard I worked, I was always a step behind them.

With that, I turned back to my work, determined to prove Jax wrong and catch up to the other agents on the case.

Jax and his team of SWAT members had arrived at the location they believed to be where the kidnappers were holding the senator’s daughter. They had received a tip from an informant that this was the right spot. They approached the building cautiously, guns drawn and ready for action.

As they stormed the building, they quickly realized that something was wrong. The place was completely empty, and there was no sign of the kidnappers or the senator’s daughter. Jax couldn’t believe it, and he was frustrated that they had wasted precious time on a wild goose chase.
