Chapter 53

When I landed at the gym where Audrey’s practice game was starting, on the back of the bleachers, I put down her purse and the sandwiches I made for her. I took one more glance... and I saw a familiar face on the left side of the court—Sarah. Sarah is with Audrey at the tryout.

The world is really getting smaller between the two of us.

“Lorraine!” I whispered to Audrey’s friend. She was just sitting in the bank, so I interrupted her.

When she turned around, I motioned her to come closer to me... and said, “I have something to command you. Is it fine with you?”

“Anything, aunty. As long as I can.”

“I’ll just persuade her into something... and make sure not to tell her I’m the sender, huh?”

Luckily I was able to get Loraine to agree.

In a large wall where I could hide it, I waited for Audrey to have break time before leaving. I just want to make sure Loraine will do her job.
