His pulse is racing, but he smiles and returns to playing with Grumpy Bear as he glances over at Sebastian.

Approaching me, Sebastian plants a kiss on my cheek, one that is tender and soft. He’s not acting like himself; I know he’s only acting that way because Lance is here.

"What time is our reservation?" I ask no one specifically as Lance reaches for the Daydream Bear.

After he manages to escape my grasp, he places himself between Alexander and me.

"In about an hour and a half, more or less," says Sebastian.

"And the place is about a thirty-minute drive," replies Alexander quietly while Lance gives him the Daydream Bear.

Shrugging it off, I return my attention to what I was thinking about. "So I basically only have an hour to get ready?" I ask as Lance remains still in Alexander’s lap when he picks him up.

With a sigh of relief, Sebastian replies, "No, you have 45 minutes to prepare. G
