Chapter 27
Jessy's POV
"I don't know, no, Jessy" murmured Joana, as the music was already lowering and the customers leaving the nightclub. " But this guy seems very disputed. Did you see how that woman stood on top of him all the time?”
"I saw, and I need your services, my favorite lawyer" I hummed, opening a cruel smile. Around us, the sounds of steps widened, as the last clients left the establishment. Joana's eyes shone under the effect of lights, and I watched her with false innocence on her face. "I think we'll have to buy a station and a nightclub, dear sister.”
"Jessy, stop buying something when you are not satisfied with the service provided," she said in a reprimand tone, although she was trying hard to hide her laughter. "Mom will go crazy when you realize that you are buying companies that do not even have a connection with your career.”
"Mom knows that my revenge is to show how to properly manage a business," I shrugged. "Buy this nightclub too.”
