Jen was Heather’s teacher; she had a beautiful face and sleek body type that society admired. Leo even remarked that seeing her for the first time was like seeing an angel for the first time. She just had this innocent face that made everyone stare back at her in admiration.

She was currently watching Leo from afar, conversing on the phone with Maxine after he excused himself. She knew they were best friends and had a terrific relationship. She could see him smiling, signaling that they were having a pleasant conversation, which made her wonder what they were discussing. Leo was a serious type of person, and it was hard to make him laugh, but Maxine made it too easy. She was delighted to see him happy instead of getting jealous. She pondered how it felt to have the friendship they have; it would be such a relief to know that you had someone to confide in all your thoughts and troubles since you know it would be safe.
