Chapter 42
Stanley had a migraine when he awoke in the middle of the day. Also, he had no recollection of what happened at his friend’s birthday celebration the night before.
He wasn’t drinking alcohol, so he couldn’t recall getting intoxicated. He was reminiscing about what had happened the night before when he felt someone move next to him. Just now did he realize that the bed he was lying on was not his own bed, that he had no clothing on, and that only a blanket covered his body.
“Good morning, Sweetheart.” When Stanley heard a familiar voice, he immediately sprang out of bed and grabbed the blanket to cover himself.
“Maureen, what the hell are you doing here?!” Stanley queried in shock while the woman just laughed at the man’s reaction.
After a few seconds, Maureen stopped laughing. “Don’t you dare tell me, Sweetheart, that you have forgotten what happened last night?” the woman asked, smiling. “You are still good in bed,” she added.
