Chapter 14

The days sped by because Miranda was busy at work and in the palace. She wanted to go to her house, but Emily informed her that Andrew had called and told her not to leave the castle or the office. She felt as if she were being held hostage. Despite having spoken with Claudia over the phone, she was desperate to meet Claudia and Aaron.

She planned to approach Andrew for her salary when he returned; she knew it was too soon to ask, but she really needed the money to pay Aaron’s school fees, and she hoped he would give her. The castle felt so empty without the three brothers. Miranda was overcome with longing for Andrew.

She’ll be honest, she missed his touch, hearing his voice, and seeing his face. Even though they only met two weeks ago and had a series of sex, she enjoys having him around her.
