Chapter 13

Miranda abruptly got up from her bed, tugging on a pair of shorts and a crop blouse, when she awoke to the brilliant sunlight coming through the Italian window. She didn’t have any clothes to wear in the castle, and Andrew has yet to procure one for her. Claudia’s number was not available when she took up her phone to call her. ‘Perhaps she’s at work,’ she reasoned.

After cleaning her teeth, she went downstairs to fetch something to eat for breakfast. Fortunately, she had a new brush in the bathroom, which she utilized.

When she arrived at the table, she was surprised to discover Emily alone at the table. What happened to the brothers?!
