She remained befuddled for a few moments before regaining her composure and smiling. William returned her smile with a wink and motioned for her to take a seat in the chair at the far end of the room, which she did. She was speechless because she couldn’t believe William Lake would be doing her make-up for the day. She grinned as her eyes met Andrew’s.

“I would have made you my girlfriend if I wasn’t gay.” Although it was clear that William was flirting with her, Miranda couldn’t help but flush, and Andrew couldn’t keep his rage in check. He can’t just watch another man flirt with his woman. Although it was clear that William had no intention of harming Andrew, he felt compelled to punch him in the face.
