“Where is your mother, and why do you say you miss her?!” She inquired, and he remained silent for a few moments, staring at her. She knew he didn’t want to talk about it, and she suspected it was something he didn’t want to remember. Miranda suspected that something had happened to his mother to cause him to remain silent.
“You can just say you don’t want to talk about it,” she says. She gave him reassurance.
“Yes, I agree. I don’t want to discuss it for now.” He muttered something and looked at her.
