Chapter 58

Nathan hid behind one of the garage’s cars, hoping that Amelia wouldn’t notice him. She walked rapidly towards her car, opened the door, started the engine, and drove backwards out of the garage, looking terrified.

Nathan waited until her car was out of sight before opening the driver’s door and getting into his car, ready to pursue Amelia. He prayed their strategy would work and Amelia wouldn’t notice he was following her.
