I watched as Macy stood up and stormed out of the dining room, clearly livid at my father's announcement. I knew I had to follow her, to make things right with her. I quickly got up from my seat and headed towards our room.

As soon as we entered the room, Macy started grabbing her clothes and throwing them into her bag. I could sense the anger emanating from her, but I didn't know how to approach the situation.

"What's wrong, Macy?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm.

"If my father finds out that your father is trying to make you contest for the prime minister position, our marriage is over!" Macy shouted as she continued to throw her clothes into her bag.
