I was stunned by Mario's suggestion that I should marry Rojas. The very idea felt like a betrayal of everything I held dear - love, happiness, and the freedom to make my own choices.

"What are you talking about?" I exclaimed, my voice rising with each word. "Marry Rojas? How could you even suggest that?"

Mario looked at me with a serious expression. "Listen, Reina. I know it's not ideal, but we have to be practical here. You have a lot of hospital bills to pay, and Rojas is more than willing to help you out."

I shook my head in disbelief. "I can't just marry someone for money," I said, my voice shaking with emotion. "I need to follow my heart, and I can't deny how I feel about Kylian."

Mario sighed and rubbed his forehead, as if he was trying to think of another solution. "I understand, Reina," he said, his voice gentler now. "And I'm not saying you should marry Rojas if you don't love him. But there might be another way."
