Chapter 61. Ivy Is Taken
It took us a few hours to recharge. Ivy woke up with a yawn; she looked at me and said, "I know."
I blinked. What was she talking about?
Ares stood up. "Let's move."
And we started again. For some reason, only Ares could sense where the witch was, so we could only follow him. We were getting into the denser parts of the forest. The trees were becoming bigger, and their thick clusters of leaves barely allowed sunlight to filter in. We walked for a few minutes when we heard the sound of fighting. It was not in the direction we were headed.
I didn't want to stop going because the more we delayed, the more danger Sue was in. Everyone turned to me as the sound of fighting intensified. They wanted me to make a decision since it was my sister's life on the line. Ares didn't look like he cared, but Garsam's eyes were glowing.
"We've already wasted so much time..."
"It won't take five minutes, I promise," Garsam interrupted.
