Chapter 61. Ivy Is Taken

It took us a few hours to recharge. Ivy woke up with a yawn; she looked at me and said, "I know."

I blinked. What was she talking about?

The trees were becoming bigger, and their thick clusters of leaves barely allowed sunlight to filter in. We walked for a few minutes when we heard the sound of fighting. It was not in the direction we were headed.

I didn't want to stop going because the more we delayed, the more danger Sue was in. Everyone turned to me as the sound of fighting intensified. They wanted me to make a decision since it was my sister's life on the line. Ares didn't look like he cared, but Garsam's eyes were glowing.
