Chapter 41. Coming Back Home

It was early morning, and she and Dylan had almost arrived at her hometown. Madison occasionally slept during their journey because she was so excited to see her family and wanted to have the energy to catch up with them. It had been a few months since she last saw them, so Madison felt happy and excited.

After seeing the familiar street, Madison yelled, “We’re here, Mr. Carter!” and intended to step out of the car before Dylan could pull the vehicle into a sidewalk. However, it was not a good idea because it was already dawn, and she might unintentionally disturb their neighbors’ sleep. Her neighbors would undoubtedly spread rumors about this until everyone knew it. When the car stopped, Madison quickly opened it, and she almost fell.
