Chapter 63

When I woke up the next morning, Viktor was rubbing my back. I lay there for a minute feeling comforted by his touch before he asked, "Are you still mad at me?"

"Yes," I told him.

"Are you sure I wouldn't tell you something if I didn't have to?" He inquired.

"No," I told her.

"Do you put your trust in me?" He inquired.

"Yes," I told him.

"Why are we having trouble then?"

"Even though I trust you, I still want to know what's going on," I said. "Every time you guys talk about me, it freaks me out."

"Let me tell you one thing that Mr. He told you that you didn't want this child. Is that right?

"In a way," I replied.

He asked, "In what way?"

"I didn't want to have kids at such a young age."

"Do you want to end the pregnancy at this time?" He inquired.

"I wouldn't go as far as that. I'm just not ready to have kids. I'm afraid, with everything going on. On the other hand, they'll get you, so I don't have to worry."
