Chapter 62

I could see him connecting his mind to Viktor's, and I wondered if he was talking to him. He probably was. We'll probably have to ask permission to do this.

He led us up the stairs to the fifth floor and into the room on the left. Before, there was so much going on that I couldn't really see the room. It was made of cherry wood. The bed was in the middle of the room, between two doors that I thought were closets. On the right, there was a door that led into a smaller room with two windows.

"That's where the baby's room is," Beta Liam said. "The little one has another room down the hall. You can make both look nice."

We went to look at the baby's room. To start, everything could use a fresh coat of paint. I was thinking that a mint green would work for both men and women.

Beta Liam took us to the hardware store to get everything we needed to paint the room. Sofia got more paint so she could do a mural.

She said, "I think I'll paint your marks on the wall
