Jacob’s POV

“Jacob. Calm down. Pace your breathing! If you cannot control your emotions, you’ll lose her.. and fast.” Dad shifted back and talked behind me. At a distance where it is out of my reach.

He knew me well. He knew I would try to claw him in this type of situation, even if he’s my father. But.. I did as he told me.

Luke was also doing his best to make me calm down. For every time I did, I’d eventually lose my cool once again. He set aside reprimanding me, but he told me that he'd surely make time for that once Sophia’s fine. And I know she’ll be fine.. She will.
