A lot had happened during those three months. We celebrated Dame Xianth’s return the very next day after that conversation. 

He didn’t attend the banquet and was just at the clinic. I didn’t visit him either. I mean, if I did, we would be going circles, and that topic would be endless. It only frustrates and hurts us both.

He wants me to confess; that was why he had that disappointed look on his face. I think he'll probably forgive me if I do what he wants, and we will likely return to our daily routine of endless bickering.
