Jacob and I arrived at the university from Crescent Moon. I told him to go to the gym first because I still had to get something from my dorm. At first, he insisted on coming with me, but his friends dragged him away.

I proceeded to the woods because today’s our match against Windhowl. We talked about strategies, and I even suggested some. Like, we should strengthen the stronghold and guard it carefully. Send out some students in buddy-buddy system or in a trio.

‘Where are you?’ His voice loomed in my head. Uh-oh, he already knew. How quick was that.

‘In the.. woods.’ I answered honestly. There’s no point in lying to him anyway.

‘Sophia. Come back here, now.’ His voice was calm, but there’s an underlying warning tone in it.

‘I couldn’t jus
