Jhoanna’s POV

“Where?” My mate quickly asked as he gave me one peck in my lips before looking into my eyes. Searching and even silently begging for answers. I held his hand and immediately ran back to where the others were. I had asked mom to teleport us to the demilitarized zone so that I could preserve my own powers. She was surprised but did not ask further as she chanted and snapped her fingers twice. For that I will be forever grateful. She knows that it is an emergency and questions are the last thing we would want. As it could delay our arrival and waste precious time.

By the time we opened our eyes, we were at the ancient ruins of the demilitarized zone.
