Side Story 4.1 - Luna's Inauguration

Jhoanna’s POV

“Are we even a hundred percent sure he’s your mate?” Dad asked while leaning his back towards the door. Mom and I both groaned. Samuel merely looked like he was amused and used to it already.

“Jacob, we’ve been through this already.. For dozens of times in all these years!” Mom ranted as she shooed away the men. 

Dad grunted, “I’m only making sure, baby.” Then he stole mom’s shooing hands to kiss them. “What if it’s like those fake threads? Remember that, my Luna?” He cooed and used that husky tone of his that I’m sure Mom loved dearly. But, both my brother and I rolled our eyes at their public display of affection.

“Geez. Everyone’s in love. I’m outta here,” Samuel groused. But before he left, he gave me a peck on my cheeks. “Congrats, sis. I’ll be there later. If you ever want to run from him, I’m just one mind
