Chapter 28. Agreement

Sophia's POV

"Carter, he is going to die," I sternly stated. He frustratingly looked at me, obviously contemplating whether or not he would help his own friend.

"Luke? Please." I tried to plead and talk to Luke since he can knock some sense to Carter, although not always, but still, better than he'll ever be compared to me. That man does not listen to anything that I say, but I hope Luke can make him. I heard a low growl escape from his mouth. He is angry at us again for defending Xander.

"Let me," Lia muttered, and I let her come out and take the reins once more.

"Luke. Relax. I'm yours." Lia softly growled and released our pheromones to calm both of them down. It was utterly effective, as I felt his anger slowly dissipate. Lia moved back and let me out as Carter now growled and heaved a sigh. That was quick.
