"I think I can go back on my own, Carter." I heaved a sigh. He stopped in his tracks and whipped his head in my direction without fully turning around.

"I will take you back, Addison," he firmly stated. His tone is obviously not opening up for negotiations. Oh, Lia is surely in a treat today, not me. Not ever.

"You do not have my feet. I can also walk on both my legs," I uttered as I went past him. He growled, and suddenly my paws were up in the air and near his face. He shifted back and suddenly carried me! I should scratch this handsome face of his so that no other she-wolves would dare look at what is mine.
