The twins hung up the mind-link as they were swamped with document after document. Before they did, I focused hard and heard from the background noises that our Beta and old man Hugh reprimanded and accused the twins that they slacked off.

And here they were just trying to volunteer to leave our pack. It is of utmost importance that they stay there. The pack members didn’t know what transpired yet, and if the twins left on top of that, it would only create confusion amongst them. Everyone would question what happened, and if news spread..
