Chapter 99. A Little Help

Sophia’s POV

“And what do you mean by that?” Principal Grum interrogated.

“Rogues. Or whoever caught Dame Xianth as captive," Carter answered.

“Wait.. Was she really held captive?” I queried since this is news to me! They just glanced at each other: Principal Grum, Miss Helen, and Nurse Rebecca.

Miss Helen sighed and said, “At this point, just tell them already. Both of them are responsible enough to hide this from the others.”

I was grateful for her kindness, and then she warned us the second she drop those warm words of hers, “If this news spreads, I'll hold the both of you accountable. And not with just a mere light and silly punishment like not letting you graduate or something!”

Now, that is indeed terrifying by all means. I was prepared for a fail in one of her lessons or her subject altogether, but if she compares it to that, I guess our punishment will be much more severe. Not that I’m planning on broadcasting this information either, anyway.
