Chapter 46. Dante’s Fall

We sat in the restaurant and planned something special for Emmi. Something amazing, which i am hoping will reassure her we aren't just using her. We hope it shows her that we love her like we have never loved anyone else before. After planning, we decide to split up, we need to find out where Jamie is hiding, he will have the details of the next attacks. We can use him to get the information, but we need to find him. I find myself standing by the car, looking at the house as my guards sweep it, it's one of their safe houses. We're looking for Jamie or any of the solace guards so we can get information, and then we can build a plan going forward. 

I know they’re hiding something. Jamie just disappeared, and no one has seen him in the city. I feel something connect with the back of my head, my body falling to the floor as everything goes black.

When I wake, my eyes have to adjust to the darkness. I should have been more cautious and ensured I was checking around me. G
