Satisfaction rolls through me at the protectiveness of my mate.
The past few times there has been conflict, it seems we’re both on either side of it—whether that be from Liam facing off against me or one of my packmates. This happens to be the first time we’re standing on the same side where protecting me against an adversary is front and center.
It’s nice to feel safeguarded, even without worrying about this enforcer fighting us.
