Chapter 9. Fuzzy Memories

With a groan, I blink my eyes open slowly, the onslaught of the sun’s rays shining in from my dorm’s window assaulting me instantly.
There is a dull ache in the back of my head, the telltale signs of a residual hangover from the night before. With my shifter healing abilities, it isn’t as bad as it could be considering how many drinks I’d thrown back, yet at the same time, I still feel slightly miserable.
Remind me to never again drink on an empty stomach…
“Hey, you up?”
Turning my head slowly, I find Iris sitting on her bed with a laptop next to her. She smiles at me when she realizes I’m awake and quickly slips off the side of her mattress.
“Oh my god, you’ll never guess what happened.”
My memories are fuzzy from the night. The last thing I remember is Blake pulling out his guitar, and then… nothing. It’s completely and totally blank.
Sighing, I shift my body and sit up slowly. I’m starving but also still slight
