I had never seen Chad look so embarrassed, and I took advantage of laughing at his facial expression.

“Relax, I’m not trying to sexually manipulate you.” I had no idea why I was talking like an idiot, but I thought making free food was worth it.

“I think you’re hungrier than I thought.” Chad stretched his neck and looked around to see if he would catch sight of the waiter anywhere around.
