“Punish? Why?” I cried in surprise.

Jordan shook his head. “Oh, how quickly you forgot. You left the house without permission and did not tell either one of us where you were going.”

I closed my eyes at the reminder of what had occurred before this little trip downstairs. I guess it was too much to hope that they had forgotten it as well, obviously my luck was not that good today.
