Chapter 112
Zayne's POV.
I wasn't supposed to be here, driving her downtown to get new outfits, but then here we were, and she had her face out the window, her Auburn splashing in all directions. Good thing I had my glasses on, for right now, I was being a creep.
She smiled at me, and though I didn't smile back, I had this tug in my chest; it felt like I was dripping down like goo.
She was a whole lot more character than she was the night before, though I hadn't told her anything because she didn't remember anything that went on.
I wonder how mad she'd go if I told her she had asked me if I'd kiss her.
The lust was a mutual thing, then. The liquor had helped her spill, and getting her drunk again had its appeal. Too bad. I made that bet.
