His treatment of Allysia didn't surprise her. She expected it and maybe even yearned for it. She was one of his cagnas. His favorite one, at that. Also, she was no ordinary person—a minister's daughter—and when he needed it, she used her connections to aid him.
But one thing he drew the line on was coming to see him when she wasn't called. Damon wasn't about to let her off the hook so quickly.
