"Mon Dieu," he looked alarmed, took the cup back, and brought a bigger one, placing it in front of me and filling it up. "Tequila with fruit flavoring," he winked at me, "works best for bad boyfriends."
I laughed this time, taking hold of it and taking in a mouthful. I winced as it hit my throat.
The bartender laughed, "You take it easy, Mon Cheri; it can loosen you up before you know it."
"Too late," I smiled, feeling the knot in my shoulders loosen. Loving the feeling, I took another big sip. The bartender looked at me with amusement.
