At school.

I was gety ting out some of the books I needed for our upcoming class, squatting in front of my locker as usual.

Nick and Uche were talking and laughing over at Uche's locker when Kim joined them. They all talked for a while till I saw Nick leave with Kim. I saw Uche about to leave where he stood in front of his locker when a girl hopped in front of him.

I saw him smile as they talked on, it made me wonder what they were talking about. At first, it was curiousity, just mere, innocent curiousity, but with more passing time I realized it wasn't that. I decided not to think about it and focus on getting my books but just as I was about to look away, I saw her stretch her arm to reach for his hair. She was touching his hair!
