Chapter 14

Elsa’s POV

I walked to class and back to studying. I felt normal on the outside but my heart was broken. Yesterday, I cried until I fell asleep. I don’t know why I’m crying when I’m the one who wants to end things.

“Elsa!” Jennifer elbowed me and I turned my attention to her.

“What?”

“You’ve been staring at that food for 10 minutes.”

“Oh,” I started to eat.

“You like him, don’t you? It’s hard for you to let him go.”

“No. I don’t like him, how come? It’s a short period.”

“Liar, if you don’t like him then why are you crying?” she asked and I looked at her blankly.

“I’m not.”

“Yes you are, it’s so obvious that your eyebags are bigger and you put a lot of concealer,” she raised her eyebrows, and I sighed.

“Patricia is back.”

“I heard a couple of rumors about her, she broke up with Jayson last year.”

“He must be so broken-hearted.”

“You don’t know that,” she hissed.

“I know.”
