With Hubert’s acquiescence, Phelan began to channel his Superpower into him. At first, no sensation arose, but roughly ten seconds in, a numbing sensation began to spread throughout his body. An intense heat raged within him as Lancelot’s fiery Superpower was transferred.

Lancelot, though seemingly tranquil lying on the bed, was drenched in sweat that soaked his face. His once-handsome visage was now contorted with pain. He was clearly in agony, but there was no way for him to awaken. The three energy sources within Lancelot were clashing brutally, attempting to expel the excess fire energy.

This fierce struggle was also felt by Hubert. More precisely, because of the life-link forming between them, Hubert could sense all that Lancelot endured.
