"No, I don't have an appointment with him..."

"I'm sorry but I can't let you in" she cut me off

"But..?" I tried to protest 

"But what? This is the company's policy, or do you think that I'll let just any girl come to his office just to see him, take a look at what you're holding, you can't even get him an expensive gift," she scoffed.

"Is everyone here this rude?" I thought. His secretary didn't even give me a chance to explain or at least inform her that I'm his wife, I opened my mouth to speak but before I could mention a word, the man that I sought to see appeared out of nowhere and said "What's the problem here" 

"Sir, she came here requesting to see you and she doesn't have an appointment with you, so I couldn't possibly let her in," the secretary explained, and I rolled my eyes. She didn't give others the chance to speak
