Chapter 59. Punishment

Aryan’s pov

I watched as Roseanna climbed down from the car and I tried to act unbothered

“Aryan, have you been waiting for your wife?” Henry asked. I turned to gaze at Roseanna, and she turned to look away from me after our eyes meet.

“No, I came out to receive a call,” I lied 

“Let’s go,” I said and took Roseanne by her hands

“Can’t we stay a bit longer? I’m not sure the event is over yet,” Roseanna said, and a frown appeared on my face. “She wasn’t ashamed to show me that she enjoyed Henry’s company more than mine?” I thought and abruptly said, “No, let’s leave”

“But your wife wants to stay, you can’t force her to do what she doesn’t want to do” Henry’s words made my blood boil and the desire to rip his throat out of his body came again but I tried to calm my temper so that they might not get the wrong impression and think that I’m jealous

“I’m leaving now and my wife can’t drive, my drivers are on leave tonight,” I lied
