"I won't make it to the office today," I said and ended the call. I turned to Roseanna, who sat up on the end. I didn't know why she had been acting funny since she woke up.

"How was your night, Wifey?" I asked.

"It's fine, how was your sleep?" she responded

"As a matter of fact, I've never slept the way I slept in my entire life. You're such an angel, an angel sent from God," I declared as I changed into a pair of blue jeans and white t-shirts.

"That's the benefit of running your own business," Roseanna said and I turned to her only to find her staring at me with her beautiful big round eyes

"What do you mean?" I inquired.

"You just made a call to your assistant, and he didn't even say a word about your decision not to come to work today. I'd probably be sacked if it was," she said, and I chuckled at her words.
