Aryan's pov
"Isn't that what she is, a poor ass low-life commoner? You're not in the same class with that poor girl," she continued, even after my warning.
"Don't let me repeat myself, Zara. I'm serious. Don't talk down on Roseanne again," I repeated. Zara moved closer to me and placed her hands on my chest. I pushed her hands away from me and she chuckled slightly at my behavior and exhaled.
"I can see that you're infatuated with her. It's just a small distraction from me, and soon, what you feel for her will pass," Zara said. She seemed serious, like she knows me more than I know myself.
"No Zara, you're wrong this time. What the hell did you tell her about me? What the hell did you tell her about us, huh?" I yelled, and she chuckled. She wasn't afraid of my words, she wasn't afraid of me. We were close. We were inseparable, but she left. She left me and chose to live a different life from what we were taught.
