"If I may ask, doctor, what for?" I asked

"Your father, he requests to speak with you or he wouldn't take his medication," the doctor said, and I bit my lips in frustration before ending the call. I dropped my phone on the table, desperately wishing that I'd be able to keep it in because I felt like screaming at the top of my voice.

"What's wrong?" Kent asked as he noticed how stressed I seemed.

"The old man has refused to take his medications until he sees me," I responded

"Holy cow, what's the problem this time?" Kent asked, and I stood to my feet.

"You can relax, I might have to go home after leaving the hospital," I said

"Take care dude," Kent said as I walked away from him and made my way toward the exit of the bar
