Lizzy’s POV

I watched him walk slowly towards me as I stared up at him, and he looked down at me as I moved my gaze away, not wanting to look at him. He got down to my level and started up at me, holding my hands.

“Lizzy,” he called out as I turned away from him. “Please, I’m sorry.”

Hearing that word over and over again made me laugh. I looked up at him, trying to contain my rage that was already boiling inside of me.

“Really?” I chuckled, looking up at him. “You are sorry.”

I stood up and slapped him across the face, tears streaming down my cheeks.

“You always say you’re sorry, but you keep making the same mistake. I despise you, Liam, even though our love was genuine, it appears that you are only using me.”

I turned around and returned to the place. I sat down and drew my head down.

I felt him pull me closer to him as he sat next to me.
