“You really didn’t have to apologize again,” I said aloud again, hoping she’ll take the hint and leave, as I was feeling uneasy. Her persistent smiling and mumbling raised my suspicion.
“Is everything okay?” I asked, hinting at the fact I wasn’t comfortable with her looking around my room.
“Yeah, I am. Everything’s just the same,” she murmured to which I got on fast.
“Excuse me?”
“I love your shirt, I’m sorry I ruined it.”
“Like I said, it’s okay, would you mind? I’d like to get changed?”
“It’s simply that I bought this same shirt for my husband, and he loved it so much, so I got carried away, I was told that was the only piece left.”
I immediately became at ease, “You must love your husband so much to get him a limited edition,” I smiled at her.
“Yes, I love him so much. I’ll get going then,” she half smiled before going out the room.
