Chapter 66
OLIVIA
After the drama was done, a round of applause echoed in the crowd. A team of dancers took on the stage, when the music started, Tia, Emily and I gave ourselves a knowing look, this was one of our favorite songs, we sang to every lyric, making small moves at our table, Nate and Papii laughing at us throughout as we cheered for them because of how good they were.
As they finished dancing, getting off the stage, the man who, I assumed, was the host from earlier took center stage again, “I need three ladies tonight, finely dressed and ready for some fun!”
Suddenly, spotlights started moving around the different parts of the hall, until it fell on an elegantly dressed woman on my east, then another on the west as the light fell on her. Praying the light wouldn’t come this way, but my prayers in vain as the spotlight shone brightly on me.
“What?” I exclaimed, at Tia and Emily and back to Ethan, “But I didn’t volunteer. Papii, do something about this,” I plea
