The room was filled with men, different kinds of good-looking men, all having talks and loud music. Ethan held me close, not letting me out of his sight.

“You do know that you have to mingle with your colleagues and not keep me to yourself throughout,” I said.

“I wish you could see how all these men want to either have you for themselves or eat you.”

“It’s still the same thing if they have me for themselves or eat me, papii’ I laughed slightly.

“Well, until I see Emily and Tia, I’m not letting you out of my sight.”

“You’re the boss, captain—”

Just as we were approaching our table, Tia and Emily, looking stunning as ever, approached us. Their dresses sparkled, and their smiles were as bright as the color of my dress.

“My God, Olivia! Ethan! You both look astonishing!” Tia exclaimed, hugging me warmly.

“Absolutely stunning! I love the color, Ethan, did you do this?” Emily added, eyeing Ethan playfully.

“You can’t blame
