“So you’re going to meet her?” Logan asked as I put on my suit, adjusting my tie.

“I have no choice Logan, it’s either that or all Steven and I have worked for will go down the drain. My father could actually go to prison.” I slipped my phone into my inner pocket.

“And what if it’s one of her games? She’s trying every possible means to have you back and ruin what you have with, Liv.”

“She won’t.”

“How sure are you, Ethan? If you delay an hour there, are you not aware Liv would worry and think something is wrong with you, and she’ll start calling and calling?”

“I’ll be home before she knows it, I wouldn’t entertain her.” I proceeded to the door.

“You’ve been married before, Ethan, she’ll know how to entertain you without you not entertaining her. Don’t make the mistake.”

“Logan, I love Olivia, and won’t do anything to hurt her. Okay, but she shouldn’t know,” I said, turning the doorknob. “I’ll see you at work tomorrow, goodnight.”
